WORKSHOPPING WITH BLAIR: Fermentation
Come learn the art of fermentation ! We will discuss the basics of fermentation and provide some simple recipes.
Fermenting vegetables is one of the oldest and simplest methods of food preservation. This traditional practice relies on naturally occurring lactic acid bacteria to transform raw vegetables into tangy, probiotic-rich foods like sauerkraut, kimchi, pickles, and more. Fermented vegetables are incredibly versatile: they can be enjoyed on their own, added to sandwiches, tossed into salads, or used to enhance soups and grain bowls. By embracing this age-old craft, you can turn ordinary garden harvests into vibrant, living foods packed with flavor and health benefits
